Today, June 28, 2017, the Senate Special Select Committee reconvene in the Chamber of the National Assembly of Belize in Belmopan, to continue with their investigation into the Auditor General’s Special Visa and other findings Report on the Immigration and Nationality Department for period 2011-2013.
The only witness scheduled to re-appear before the Committee today was Ms. Ady Pacheco, Immigration Clerk. Ms. Pacheco was accompanied by her Attorney, Mr. David Morales. The Committee questioned Ms. Pacheco about numerous cases whereby her name was mentioned in the Auditor General’s Report on Immigration.
All Senators were present at today’s meeting. However, Senator Dr. Barnett and Senator Rev. Rock were not present in the second session of today’s hearing.
The Meeting began at 10:21 A.M. and was adjourned at 3:17 P.M.
