Senate Special Select Committee Public Hearing 11/10/17

The Public Hearing held in the National Assembly Chambers in Belmopan held today October 11, 2017, began at  10:22 A.M, with one witness scheduled to appear before the Committee, Mr. Edmund Zuniga, Chief Executive Officer in the Ministry of Immigration.

Mr. Zuniga was questioned based on policies, processes and procedures in the grant of nationality, and the issuance of visas and passports at the Ministry of Immigration and Nationality that pertain to the findings of the Special Report of the Auditor General for the period 2011 – 2013.

All Members of the Committee were present at the public hearing. The meeting concluded at 12:00 noon. The Senate Special Select Committee is scheduled to meet again next Wednesday, October 18, 2017, to continue its public hearing.
