The Senate Special Select Committee today reconvened in the Chamber of the National Assembly of Belize in Belmopan, to continue with their interrogation into the Auditor General’s Special Visa and other findings Report on the Immigration and Nationality Department for period 2011-2013.
Once again Ms. Ruth Meighan, former Director at the Immigration and Nationality Department, was summoned in front of the Committee Members to give her honest response on various questions that the Committee had for her based on the Nationality Reports.
All Members of the Committee were present at todays Meeting, Chairman- Senator Aldo Salazar, Senator Carla Barnett, Senator Elena Smith, Senator Ashley Rocke, Senator Markhelm Lizarraga and Senator Eamon Courtenay.
The Meeting began at 10:13A.M. and was adjourned at 1:50 P.M.
