Today, June 21, 2017, the Senate Special Select Committee reconvene in the Chamber of the National Assembly of Belize in Belmopan, to continue with their investigation into the Auditor General’s Special Visa and other findings Report on the Immigration and Nationality Department for period 2011-2013.
The only witness that was scheduled to appear before the Committee today was Ms. Ady Pacheco, Immigration Clerk. The Committee questioned Ms. Pacheco about numerous cases whereby her name was mentioned in the Auditor General’s Report on Immigration.
Chairman- Senator Aldo Salazar, Senator Carla Barnett, Senator Ashley Rocke, Senator Markhelm Lizarraga and Senator Michel Chebat, (Temporary Senator) were all present at today’s meeting. Senator Chebat was alternate for Senator Courtenay. Also absent was Senator Elena Smith.
The Meeting began at 10:13A.M. and was adjourned at 3:07 P.M.
