La Inmaculada R.C. Primary School & Our Lady of Bella Vista RC Primary Visit the National Assembly of Belize

Today, Friday, 2^nd June 2023, the National Assembly of Belize welcomed two primary schools from different parts of the country for educational tours.

La Inmaculada R.C. Primary School from the Orange Walk District came with around 80 Standard II students accompanied by 50 parents and 5 teachers. Later in the afternoon, Our Lady of Bella Vista RC Primary from the Toledo District visited with about 101 Standard V students and 5 teachers.

The groups eagerly listened to the presentation on the functions of the Legislative branch of Government and viewed the Act Books and Mace present in the Chambers. Afterward, the students answered a few questions about what they learned which ended the visits.
