On Wednesday, February 26, 2025, approximately 70 students from Eden SDA Primary School in Santa Elena Town visited the National Assembly for an exciting educational tour. The Standard 2 and 3 students explored the chamber where important national decisions are made and learned about the government’s role in shaping Belize’s future.

The visit included a fun mock parliamentary session, where selected students were invited to share what they learned with the class. They received points based on their presentations, and the whole class had to agree or disagree by saying “I” when they supported the points, just like in a real parliamentary session.

Our Future Leaders?

The day was an inspiring experience, fostering an early interest in leadership and governance.

The National Assembly of Belize is proud to have hosted these bright young minds and looks forward to future visits from more student groups.
