Belize Defence Force Youth Cadets Visit the National Assembly of Belize

Wednesday, 5^th July 2023, the National Assembly of Belize welcomed the BDF Youth Cadets for an educational tour.

A small group of about 9 Cadets in the company of 2 Soldiers sat in the Public Galleries where they received a presentation on the functions of the Legislative Branch of Government by the Clerk of the National Assembly accompanied by a Parliamentary Officer.

The Cadets got a chance to view the Chambers along with its artifacts, and to hear the process by which legislation is passed. Even though the Cadets represented different age groups, they were attentive and engaged in meaningful discussions throughout the presentation.
