Today, 13th April 2021, the Honourable Valerie Woods, Speaker of the House of Representatives had a courtesy visit from the new Ambassador of the Republic of China (Taiwan) in Belize, His Excellency David Kuan-Chou Chien, in the Speaker’s Office, National Assembly Building, Belmopan. After officially welcoming and having a short discussion/conversation with the new Ambassador, his Excellency was given a tour of the National Assembly Building.
Also present were Mrs. Clarita Pech, Deputy Clerk of the National Assembly; Mr. Hugh Liu, Second Secretary and Mr. Zao-Wei Yang from the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan).
